This patient had a well documented paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration. She was able to balance with eyes open, but did poorly under all other conditions. The manufacturor's analysis of this is shown -- it incorrectly attributes her imbalance to a combination of somatosensory, visual and vestibular disturbance. In reality, she had none of these.

The "Cevette" algorithm, more properly, scored her as being "aphysiologic" - -meaning basically that it wasn't a recognized pattern between "normal", or "vestibular". This is a far more sensible result and one that also seems reasonable given that she has a central problem
